Marat’s Revenge

Katerina Karoussos was born in 1966 in Athens. During the period 1985-1990 she studied painting at the Athens School of Fine Arts under the tutelage of Tr. Patraskidis, D. Mytaras and D. Kokkinidis. He mainly worked with photography and video, creating video installations in which he makes reference to well-known works of art history, intervening with various techniques by appropriating them and reinterpreting their content. She was director of the Centre for Visual Arts of Greece.
