Born in St. Petersburg, 1897, died in the 1930s. In 1918 he entered the Petrograd Free Art Studios to work under Malevich. From 1919 to 1922 studied with Matiushin. He became a researcher at the Museum of Painterly Culture, later Ginhuk, working with Matiushin and the Ender family. He was represented at the Exhibition of Painting of Petrograd Artists of All Trends in 1923. He also sent works to the Venice Biennale in 1924.
