She was born in Kalamata in 1921. She attended sculpture courses at the Sommerakademie in Salzburg. He studied at the School of Fine Arts in Vienna (Wotruba workshop) and at the Ecole pratique des hautes etudes in Paris (1967-73). She was a corresponding member of the Wiener Secession. Her work was awarded the Fuger and Galerie Wurthle prizes (1959 and 1962 respectively) and the Third Prize for Sculpture at the Alexandria Biennale in 1982. In 1970 she was awarded a Patent for the form Chedron, and in 1974 she participated and was awarded a prize in the competition for the design of a square with a fountain by the Municipality of Montreuil, Paris, where she presented a study entitled Chedron - square - circle. In 1976-86, he also created the sculpture - environment Synektron - square - circle (Lycee Polyvalent, Mirepoix, Museum G. Spyropoulos, Athens, Museum of Contemporary Art V. and E. Goulandris, Andros). In 1989 she was commissioned to realize the giant environment Spuikom-Environement ( Vlissingen). She held more than fifteen solo exhibitions in Paris, Saint-Etienne, Vienna, Bologna, Athens and Thessaloniki and participated in numerous group exhibitions in Greece and abroad, Among them are the Unesco Femini in Paris (1977 and 1985), the Alexandria Biennale (1982), the Europalia (1982), the 5th Biennale of Contemporary Art at the Skyroneion Museum, Athens by art (2004). She died in Athens in 2011. The circle and the square are the basic elements of the artist's method and have been the axis of her artistic career since 1963. Their relationship is explored, analyzed and synthesized in various analogical relationships, always aiming to achieve harmony. Her work, direct and simple, is characterized by the attempt to structure space through the prevalence of mathematical laws and the repetition of basic geometric shapes. The words that characterize it are order and discipline.
