The early works move between representation and abstraction, maintaining a brilliant balance between the intensity of gestural writing and the dynamism of the material, with strong influences from German Expressionism. His interest in volume, space and the attachment of space to the work has also led him to three-dimensional constructions using a variety of materials that work with color, as well as visual interventions in the environment. This was followed by design variations on the original stimulus and the creation of colour fields defined by the gaps in the drawings. He has published poems and participated in sculpture-painting symposia He was awarded at the 6th Biennale of Micrography (Milanowitz, 2000).
