Mr. Pavlos
Γιάννης ΒαλαβανίδηςYannis Valavanidis was born in 1939 in Athens. During the period 1957-1963 he studied painting and engraving at the A.S.K.T. with G. Moralis, K. Grammatopoulos and mosaic with E. Voila. He participated in left-wing student organizations and in the 1960s and during the junta he participated in mobilizations while his compositions had an anti-dictatorial character. He lived and worked for a year in Paris and in 1970, together with G.
