Orestis Symboulidis was born in 1979 in Athens. He studied painting at the Athens School of Fine Arts under the tutelage of Chronis Botsoglou (1999-2006) and continued his studies of printmaking at the same school in the studio of Michalis Arfaras (c. 2013). In 2007 he won the first prize in a visual arts competition organized by the Athens School of Fine Arts at the Athenaïs multi-purpose hall, and in 2011 in a competition organized by the Athens School of Fine Arts and the General Staff of the National Defence Forces. He has worked with the National Opera as a sculptor. At the same time he is involved in digital sculpture, creating 3D graphics, mainly 3d models and teaching digital sculpture seminars. He has participated in group exhibitions in Greece and abroad, among them: "Howl now while you are still breathing", Alpha Delta Gallery (2014), "Reculture" 2nd International Festival of Fine Arts Patras (2013), "The line of printmaking unites Athens and Florence", Il Bisonte Gallery (Florence) and Technochoros Gallery (Athens) (2012), etc. Lives and works in Athens.
