Animal Being

Nikos Papadimitriou was born in 1971 in Chios. He studied painting and printmaking at the Athens School of Fine Arts, followed by postgraduate studies in visual communication at the Kent Institute of Art & Design. He has taught at all levels of education. He was a founding member of the non-profit platform Lo & Behold, which was active from 2008-2018. He has presented his work in more than 15 solo exhibitions and has participated in numerous group and international exhibitions in Greece and abroad, including the Sarajevo Biennale (2001), the Tel Aviv Biennale (2004), the Prague Biennale (National Gallery of Prague 2003) and the Istanbul Biennale. His artistic practice consists of a variety of media, materials and techniques and to create drawings, paintings, prints, sculptures, videos and installations.
