Still life

Margarita Liberaki was born in 1919 in Athens. She studied at the Law School of the University of Athens, but her love for the arts led her to turn to literature and painting. She wrote a series of novels, among them: "The Trees" (1945), "The Straw Hats" (1946), "The Other Alexander" (1970) etc. as well as plays and film scripts "Magic City" (1954), Phaedra (1962). She died in 2001 in Athens.
