Yorgos Xenos was born in 1953 in Athens. He studied painting at the École Nationale Superieure des Beaux-Arts, Section des Arts Plastiques in Paris (1976-1982). From 1983 to 1993, when he settled permanently in Athens, he lived and worked between Athens, Mönchengladbach and Berlin, where he experienced the events of the fall of the Berlin Wall. In 1986 he had his first solo exhibition at Galerie Jean Bernier in Athens and since then he has had a series of solo exhibitions in various cities in Greece and Germany. He has taken part in numerous group exhibitions in Greece, Germany, Luxembourg, Sweden, Italy, China, Russia and other countries.
