Nono Rheinhold was born in 1929 in Haarlem, the Netherlands. She first studied at the School of Decorative Arts in Amsterdam (1947-1951) and then moved to Paris, where she attended classes at Stanley W. Hayter's "Atelier 17" with Pierre Alechinsky and Krishna Reddy. She founded her own studio "Atelier Patris" , which was located in Rue Boulard. She continued her studies at the Pratt Graphic Center in New York and returned to Amsterdam in 1963. From 1980 to 1990 she was a professor of printmaking at the Academie des Beaux-Arts in Bois-de Duc. Alongside her teaching work, she continued her artistic production, which she exhibited in America, Europe and Japan.
