She was born in 1952 in Athens. She studied at the Athens School of Fine Arts with G. She continued with postgraduate studies in painting at the Pratt Institute in New York (1980-1982). In 1981 she attended anatomy courses for artists at the Art Students League in New York. Anna Laskari uses a variety of media and research practices to create artworks and interactive environments in public and private spaces. She uses sculpture, installation, 3D animation, web, video, photography, archives and archival practices to create works and spaces of participation, engagement, knowledge and memory. In 1993 she presented her work for the first time in a solo exhibition and since then she has had a series of exhibitions in Greece and abroad. She has also participated in numerous group exhibitions, including. Lives and works in Athens.
