Armory Square II

Peggy Kliafa was born in 1967 in Trikala and grew up in Athens, where she studied at the Athens University of Economics and Business (A.S.O.E.E., 1990) and then at the Athens School of Fine Arts under the tutelage of Mario Spiliopoulos, Zafos Xagoraris, Pantelis Chandris and Nikos Tranos. The themes of her works reflect contemporary social concerns and use materials related to medicines and their packaging. She has presented her work in two solo exhibitions and two tri-individual exhibitions in Greece, and has participated in more than 60 group exhibitions and art fairs. She lives and works in Athens.
