Δεύτερη Συνάντηση στην Ρωμαϊκή Αγορά

Ο Βασίλης Μπότουλας χρησιμοποιεί στα έργα του κυρίως μολύβι και με σχολαστική και λεπτομερή ακρίβεια δημιουργεί συνθέσεις μικρής κλίμακας και μεγάλης καθαρότητας ως προς τη φόρμα, οι οποίες χαρακτηρίζονται από απόλυτη γεωμετρία και κονστρουκτιβιστική διάθεση.

Vasilis Boutoulas was born in 1976 in Athens. With studies in graphic design, fine arts, and theoretical studies in art history, he primarily works with pencil and ink on various surfaces, aiming to create a unique code of communication between himself, his artwork and the viewer. For over a decade, he has lived and worked in Nea Voutza, an area located roughly between Marathon and Athens, which was severely affected by the devastating fire in Eastern Attica in 2018. This event was instrumental in the subsequent evolution of the artist's work. Since then, through his artworks, he has been trying to heal the wounds inflicted by the fire on the plant, animal, and human kingdoms.
