Στα έργα της περιόδου 2010-2012 ο Νίκος Τριανταφύλλου δημιουργεί «σκανογραφήματα»: σκανάρει σε υψηλή ανάλυση και εκτυπώσει σε αρχειακό χαρτί συνθέσεις με λουλούδια, ρούχα, βιβλία και άλλα διακοσμητικά αντικείμενα. Δημιουργεί νεκρές φύσεις, ονειρικές εικόνες που περιέχουν αντικείμενα συμβολικά φορτισμένα, όπου η επιπεδότητα της εικόνας ενισχύει τον ανοίκειο χαρακτήρα μιας δουλειάς που βασικά στοχεύει στην προσωπική ενδοσκόπηση.

Nikos Triantafyllou was born in 1959 in Giannitsa. He studied political science at Panteion University of Athens, fashion at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London, aesthetic restoration of works of art in Florence, painting at the Department of Visual and Applied Arts of the School of Fine Arts of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and museology at the Inter-University Postgraduate Programme of the A.U.T.H. In his works, Nikos Triantafyllou combines a variety of visual media (painting, sculpture, construction, video, collage, photography, performance art, ceramics, woodcarving) to capture often dreamlike images that go hand in hand with conscious experiences. His main references are objects with symbolic content that embody a nostalgic mood and deliberately reflect an outdated aesthetic.
