Euthumia Vamvaka was born in 1977 in Edessa. She studied painting at the Department of Visual and Applied Arts of the School of Fine Arts of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, under the tutelage of Vangelis Dimitreas. She graduated with honors and received a scholarship from the Panagiotis and Efis Micheli Foundation. Her works are dominated by the strong contrast of white and black. Modern electronic media and technology in the service of personal writing and expressive needs are a springboard for artistic process, while images and forms of contemporary reality are represented in paintings on canvas or large-scale paper. She held her first solo exhibition in 2004 and participated in group exhibitions in Greece: "Field of Action Kodra"-2nd meeting of alternative artistic creations, Thessaloniki (2002), Graduates 2001-2003, Macedonian Museum of Contemporary Art (2003), etc.
