Painting work

Kostis Paschalis was born in 1912 in Athens. He took his first painting lessons from his father Spyros, also a painter, and then studied painting in France and Italy. He formed his own pictorial writing, which moved within the framework of abstraction and was directly related to music, acquiring the character of "acoustic painting". Thus, incorporating elements of Orphism, he created compositions that are sometimes expressionistic and sometimes lyrical. He held solo exhibitions in Greece and Cyprus and participated in dozens of group exhibitions in Greece and abroad. He died in Athens in 1992.
