Konstantinos Ignatiadis was born in 1958 in Ioannina. He initially studied at the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (b. 1982) and then left for Paris where he stayed until 1998. With a scholarship from the "Basil & Elise Goulandris Foundation" he specialized in art photography at the National Museum of Modern Art in Paris (1986). The following year he was employed at the Centre Georges Pompidou M.N.A.M. (Musée National d'Art Moderne) as a photographer of the collections and exhibitions and in 1991 he became the exclusive photographer of the Museum "Galeries Nationale du Jeu de Paume" in Paris. Since 1993 he has been working as an external collaborator for special shots and museography at the Louvre Museum. He photographed works for publications of luxury art books. Slavos (publication National Bank of Greece). During the period 1988-1992 he actively participated in the production of the first Videodisques and CD Rom (peinture-sculpture-objets d'art) of the Louvre and Orsay museums. In 1996 the French state, through the "Fonds National d' Art Contemporain", purchased seven of his works. In Greece, his works have been in the collection of the MOMus Museum of Contemporary Art and the MOMus Museum of Photography in Thessaloniki since 2007. Since 1999 he has been collaborating with the Ephorate of Prehistoric & Classical Antiquities for the publication of albums (Archaeological Museum of Ioannina, Nicopolis, Lefkada) In 1999, he carried out the printing of the first art book "Éphéméride I" by photogravure (19th century) with seven heliogravure prints (500 copies). His portfolio includes solo and group exhibitions.
