Koula Maragopoulou was born in 1913 in Kyparissia, Messinia. She studied at the Athens School of Fine Arts with P. Mathiopoulos and for one year attended painting classes at the private school of P. Byzantios and A. Stylos. After the war, he worked systematically, initially alongside G. After the war, she worked systematically with G.G. Bouzianis and then independently, developing a very intense activity until 1990, which led to a rich exhibition activity in both solo and group exhibitions in Greece and abroad. The themes of her works include landscape paintings, portraits and still lifes, which she works in oil and watercolour. She died in Athens in 1977.
