Contemplation III

Ingo Duennebier was born in Jena and grew up in Kassel, Germany. He studied photography and audiovisual media at the University of Applied Sciences in Cologne. In 1987 he moved/settled in Thessaloniki. Until 1996 he worked on photographic processes without a camera, mainly using photograms and chemograms. From 1994 until today he has been recording contemporary landscapes and incidents of everyday life, while producing thematic independent series in which he uses a variety of photographic forms and methods. In 2002 he has been working on projects in New York. He has had solo exhibitions in Thessaloniki and participated in many group exhibitions in Greece and other countries.
