Βοήθειαααααα ή Χορός

Τα εννέα τυπώματα υφάσματος, διαστάσεων 35 x 27 εκ. το καθένα, που απαρτίζουν την εγκατάσταση μεταβλητών διαστάσεων «Βοήθειααααα ή Χορός» της Χρύσας Μπεζιργιαννίδου αποτελούν μέρος ενός ευρύτερου κύκλου δουλειάς, στην οποία η καλλιτέχνιδα μέσω των τυπωμάτων και των χαρακτικών επιχειρεί να διατυπώσει τη στάση της στις σύγχρονες δυσκολίες. Μέσα από την απουσία της ανθρώπινης φιγούρας προσπαθεί με περίτεχνο τρόπο να περιστοιχίσει την ανθρώπινη υπόσταση. Σύμφωνα με την καλλιτέχνιδα η απουσία της με τον κυριολεκτικό και τον συμβολικό της χαρακτήρα καταδεικνύει την συμπαράταξή της με την πλευρά του ανθρωπισμού που στόχο του έχει την ανάδειξη του ατόμου ως μοναδικό ρυθμιστή της τύχης και της υπόστασης του.

Chryssa Bezirgiannidou was born in Orestiada, Greece. She studied at the Department of Fine and Applied Arts at the School of Fine Arts of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (graduated in 2008 and then with a scholarship from the State Scholarship Foundation she completed a two-year postgraduate research on artistic work in printmaking at the same educational institution. She has worked as a teacher in public education in the field of aesthetics and has collaborated in projects of the Telloglio Foundation for the Arts of Thessaloniki and the Thessaloniki Olympic Museum. Since 2021, she is a Ph.D. candidate at the Department of Product and Systems Design Engineering at the University of the Aegean and she is also a contracted instructor teaching Studio1A at the same educational institution in Syros.
