Print Book Flags

Christina Mitrentse was born in 1977. She studied at the School of Fine Arts in Thessaloniki (1995-2000) and then completed postgraduate studies at the Chelsea College of Art and Design in London (2002-2004) and the School of Education at the University of Greenwich (2007-2008). A multidisciplinary artist, educator, and independent curator, she engages in the construction of narratives and poetic ensembles through various media and techniques, such as drawing, silkscreen, book-sculpture, collage, installations, and multiple processes, including ongoing participatory projects like "Add To My Library" (#ATML), proposing a process of de-institutionalizing the book, and "Bibliographic Data Flow" (#BDF), which collects book titles, enriching a #Meta-library. She has presented her artwork in solo and group exhibitions in museums, galleries, and public spaces.
